Disability Attorney John V. Tucker Presents Lecture at National Veterans Law Conference
On March 11, 2016, John V. Tucker of Tucker Disability presented a lecture titled Lay Evidence Can Win Your Case at the Spring Conference of the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates (NOVA) in Las Vegas, NV. The 500-plus attorneys and representatives who comprise NOVA’s membership serve the veterans of our nation’s military by representing them in disability compensation claims before the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Mr. Tucker’s presentation covered how to use witnesses who are not experts to document and prove facts to win a veteran’s service connected compensation claim and to get veterans the appropriate level of compensation.
Mr. Tucker was also recognized by NOVA President Glenda Herl as part of a small group of members for their length of membership in NOVA. Honoring a longstanding military tradition, NOVA presents members with different coins based on their years of service. Mr. Tucker received a bronze 10 Year Member coin in recognition of his years of membership in NOVA.
