Disability insurance companies selectively review records and quote only the items that are good for them – not you – to deny claims. This is called “cherry picking” evidence when the disability adjuster cuts and pastes pieces of your records to deny your disability insurance claim. This is particularly common in group disability claims covered by the federal ERISA law.
