VA issued the following letter addressing cancellations at the St. Pete RO due to Hurricane Irma:

The St. Petersburg RO reports:
With a focus on safety the St. Petersburg Regional Office cancelled all BVA, DRO and non-appeal hearings through Tuesday, September 12, 2017. All Veterans, representatives as well as the BVA judges have been contacted and informed.
Many of the Veterans and representatives had already called to ask for rescheduling of their hearings due to the uncertainty of the Hurricane’s projection. The Veterans pending BVA appeal hearings will be re-scheduled for the next pending docket as early as next month if possible.
The Regional Office will be closed Friday and Monday. A determination regarding office closure for Tuesday and pending hearings scheduled the rest of the week has not been reached at this time.
